Just to let you know that all Council’s offices will be closed to face to face contact effective from 5:00pm tonight (23 March 2020).

Council’s 2 libraries located in Berri and Barmera will be closed for face to face public contact. Berri Library, due to being joint use with the Department for Education, will remain open for the schooling component while enforcing social distancing and other measures to keep library staff and our school customers safe. We will be taking advice from the State Government in regards to school closures.

Click here to see how SA Public Libraries are responding to the COVID-19 outbreak and how this will impact on your Holds.

We also will be exploring other options to maintain some sort of library service to vulnerable and needy customers in this time of need.

Remember, as a SA Public Library Borrower you still have access to some great FREE electronic Library Services!  You can use Libby for reading eBooks and listening to audiobooks and PressReader for browsing digital magazines and newspapers.

For more information check our website or phone us at Berri Library on 8595-2666 and at Barmera Library on 8588-2872 or you can also email us at: berrilibrary@bbc.sa.gov.au and barmeralibrary@bbc.sa.gov.au.

Stay safe and happy!
