In late May 2013 we discovered the ‘go live’ date for our small library network of Berri Library & Information Centre, Barmera Public Library and Glossop High School Middle Campus Library to join the Statewide One Card consortium.

Berri Barmera will move to the new automated library system on Thursday 17th October. Both staff and customers are very excited because it will provide easy access to the multitude of resources held at SA public libraries and library members will require just one library card to borrow at any South Australian public library!  Loxton Waikerie Council libraries will move to the system later in October and at this stage it is planned that Renmark Paringa Public Library will convert sometime in 2014.

Staff at Berri, Barmera and Glossop libraries are already working hard to meet the October deadline and it is possible that some library services will be disrupted during the transition period.
