New to the literary scene, Brooke Davis is a 34 year old Australian writer whose debut book ‘Lost and Found’ has taken the world by storm. At this year’s London Book Fair a bidding war overseas was sparked by this new release. Purchased by 25 countries it is now to be translated into 20 languages, quite outstanding for an unpublished Australian debut novelist. Davis wrote it as part of a PhD at Perth’s Curtin University. Davis continues to live in Perth and works part-time in a bookshop. She hopes the success of Lost and Found will allow her to write full-time.
