Baby Rhyme Time and Children’s Activities sessions
Barmera Library runs Baby Rhyme Time sessions every Tuesday at 10.30am. These half hour sessions include stories, songs, rhymes and finger plays. Come along and enjoy this special time with your little ones. No bookings are necessary. You are welcome to stay and enjoy the children’s activites that follow at 11am where stories and related craft activities are available for pre-schoolers.
Berri Library holds weekly Rhyme Time, Storytime and Children’s Activities every Wednesday (during school term times) at 10.30am. These sessions are free and the first part of each session is aimed at babies from newborn to two years with the later part of each session aimed at children, 5 years old and under. All sessions include interactive songs, a story and activity and children will require the assistance of a parent or carer. Picture books, board books and story books
Reading to your child and interacting from a young age has been proven to assist in child development and learning. Our libraries have a large collection of storybooks for all ages. These are complimented by stories on CD and our collection of DVDs and music CDs.
Parenting Collection
A special collection of books aimed at kids that help parents and carers explain those difficult themes and issues in life.

We have an easy to use Online Catalogue for you to look up the resources in our libraries. Remember you can use your library card and PIN number (contact the library to get this) to login to the My Account section of the Catalogue and reserve items you want as well as renewing existing items.
