Library & Information Week @ Barmera

Please join us in celebrating Library & Information Week in May. Special activities begin with an ‘All Week Book Sale’ from Monday to Friday so come in and find a bargain! On Thursday morning at 10am we welcome our special guest speaker Di Tillett, who’s topic is ‘Books are Mysteries”. We hope you can stay to enjoy our ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ after Di’s talk. Friday morning at 10.30am we are running an iPad support group for those who need some help or would like to compare notes and learn from each other. Free tea and coffee will be available.
Due to the popularity of last year’s “Our Stories 2013” book, we are also inviting people to submit their personal accounts or recollections once again to compile “Our Stories 2” for 2014. If you have another tale to tell or would like to build on last year’s story, please email barmera.library@plain.sa.gov.au or drop in during Library & Information Week and bring your story along!
