Come and join us at the Berri Library at 5.30pm on Thursday 17th October to hear Val Oldfield talk about her life and her book “No beating about the bush”.

Her book is an amazing memoir centred on her life at Mungeranie Station in the 1960s.  Mungeranie Station is a remote cattle property situated on the infamous Birdsville Track, 200 kms north of Maree, South Australia and 300 kms south of Birdsville, Queensland.   In “No beating about the bush” Val shares many stories, some funny, some serious about her time on the station as well as her life growing up in the Adelaide suburb of Semaphore and her successful career running many companies.

The event is FREE and light refreshments will be available on the evening.

Book your tickets by phoning the library on 8595-2666 or book online via Eventbrite now.
